Privacy policy

Last updated

This site belongs to a one-person studio, so this policy is short. It explains what I collect when you write to me, buy something or join the newsletter, and what I do with it.

What I collect

  • When you get in touch: your name, email address and whatever you write in the form
  • When you buy a course or product: your name, email address and billing country. Payments are handled by the payment provider, and I never see your card details
  • When you join the newsletter: your email address, and whether you open the letters
  • When you browse: anonymous usage data such as pages visited and the type of device, collected without cookies

How I use it

  • To reply to your message and, if we work together, to run the project
  • To give you access to what you bought, send receipts and share updates to the files
  • To send the newsletter, once a month, until you unsubscribe
  • To see which pages are useful, in aggregate, and improve the site

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

A handful of services help me run the studio: website hosting, the payment provider, the course platform and the newsletter tool. They only process your data to provide that service, under their own privacy terms.

How long I keep it

Messages and project emails are kept for as long as they are useful, and at most five years. Purchase records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data I hold about you at any time. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you are in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
